I will offer a special instructional class that will focus on breaking down and practicing the new movements for this session, as well as focusing on some of our regular movements. I will also explain more about how these movements relate to Traditional Chinese Medicine as a source of balancing and harmonizing your energy. In the winter season, the organ associated with that time are your Kidneys and bladder. The element is water. In Spring, it is your liver and your gallbladder. The element is wood. We will talk about how best to navigate this season through the movements and lifestyle and other tips to keep you happy and healthy.
As we March into Spring, let’s move forward with a positive plan to improve our health and find a place of peace and happiness within. This session will focus on winter and spring movements, as we come out of our hibernation of winter and look to ground ourselves, preparing ourselves for the explosion of energy as the earth begins to wake up in spring. This is a time we can become stuck in between, like we are sleepwalking, physically and emotionally, shaking off the heaviness of winter and longing for spring. Eat well, rest well, and practice 3 Body Qigong. It’s all preventive maintenance for your body!
David Sholemson
David is an energy healer, qigong teacher and workshop facilitator. His path began in December 2005, after a second knee surgery. He unknowingly wandered into an energy yoga center seeking a massage to help with the pain. Knowing nothing about energy, yoga or healing, he signed up. After practicing for 2 weeks, and receiving energy healing, David “just knew” this was something he wanted to do for the rest of his life.
After many trainings and workshops, under the tutelage of master healer- teacher Chun Shim, he became a Qigong teacher and workshop trainer. After 9 years of practice, he moved on to learn other forms of energy work. He became a Reiki master-teacher, Tong Ren practitioner, studied with qigong master Robert Peng and shaman, Sandra Ingerman. David has spent years studying the teachings of Ram Dass and has integrated what he has learned into his own life and his teachings, all with the intention to help guide others toward a healthier and happier life.
